Exchange 2007 SP2 Enterprise Edition
Hi, I'm trying to install the enterprise edition ofExchange 2007 SP2 but the download installs as standard edition only.Is there a special download of the enterprise edition of Exchange 2007 SP2 or do I just have to install the RTM Enterprise version that we haveand then install SP2 over that?Regards, soon

No, single setup source for standard and enterprise edition but the product key differs the edition so if you enter standard edition key, it will be standard edition and if you enter enterprise edition key, it will be enterprise edition.

Thanks Amit, it works out nicely on the CAS/HUB role holdersWould there be any issues installing CCR Active/Passive nodes under the Standard Evaluation license and then entering the Enterprise license key. The article suggests that CCR can be initially deployed under the Standard Evaluation license but I've had issues where the System Attendant service will not start at the end of the install wizard - at the clustered mailbox section. However it will start manually after the error event and I am able to create storage groups and databases without a problem after that.Just curious if this is expected behaviour or if there is some other reason my CCR setup is not running through successfully.regards, soon

Not sure but I guess it is dilemma of 64bit CCR with standard edition which is not supported while it works for 32bit CCR with standard edition, though I didn't try catching a ball of production 64bit CCR with standard edition key anytime... :)Amit Tank

Thanks so much for your help. Same errors at the end of the CCR install, but I am at least sure that it's in a supported state.cheers, soon
