Exchange 2007 SP2 Performance Troubleshooter - Execution Issues - Error accessing RPC Performance Data
Error accessing RPC performance data. The RPC performance counters are not present in the file <file path and name>. The following counters are missing: <very long list of counters>. I was hoping to get this information to help troubleshoot recent 1022, 4001, and 1016 events. Testexchangeconnectivity.com shows ActiveSync and Outlook Anywhere are working fine. However, we are getting intermittent Outlook Anywhere connectivity reports from users. Your assistance is appreciated.

Hello Frank, Thank you for the information pertaining to events 1022 and 4001. That is very helpful but it does not help explain why the Performance Troubleshooter cannot access RPC performance data. I would like to run the report so that I can see if we are actually having trouble with the RPC and why. Some Outlook Anywhere users are reporting that Outlook stops and displays the message "trying to connect" for two and three minutes at a time disrupting their work. Tina M. White Boundless Data
