Exchange 2007 SP3: User does not receive external mails and can't log in to OWA
Hi, I have a problem with our Exchange 2007 server: One single user does not receive external mails, internal mails are working fine with the exception that this user cannot send an email to himself. Furthermore the user cannot log in to OWA. The Exchange logs show that the external mails in question have been received and delivered to the user. Our anti-spam solution did not block any of these mails. The error message when trying to log in to OWA is (translated from German): "Error while trying to access your postbox. Please contact your system administrator." That's the full error message. How may I solve these problems? Thank you in advance.

Hi, Start with: Make sure the user has inherited permission granted set on the User Account in ADUC (Security Tab) You might also need to replace the permission set, using the Default button.Martina Miskovic

Resetting the permissions in ADUC solved the problem. Thank you for your quick help.
