I just installed Exchange 2007 SP3 RU4 on one of our CCR Mailbox Clusters and SCR node and event 916 is not logged anymore. I verified that the logs are being purged after the backup and this definitely occurred after SP3 R4. I restarted the replication service on the CCR nodes and SCR node and Event 916 is still not logged. Any ideas why? I would prefer not to uninstall unless this is a bug and it is not going to be resolved in SP3 RU5.

Hi I have tested it on windows 2003 and windows 2008 R2. No event 916 is logged. I also backup exchange 2007 sp3 No RU. No event 916 is logged too. I also can not find update document about event 916. So I don’t think it is problem of RU4. RU4 fixed pdf attachment problem. It is very important.
