Seems like you have to restart a few services to resolve this. Locked services/fles may be casuing this. If possible , can you reboot the server and try again. Sukh

Including Sukh, Also have below points in consideration. a) Install windows installer 4.5 b) Remove CRL entry from iexplorer-->Advanced-->clear check mark "Certification revocatin" c) Reboot server.Anil

Might want to check out this KB: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/982423 Also from the errors, beremote is your Backup Exec agent. You will need to stop all services that tie to Exchange before attemtping the upgrade. I think I have resolved it You need to stop the Windows SBS Manager Service prior to the install and also stop any Backup Exec services, I will try this later this week and post some feedback
