Exchange 2007 SelfSigned Services
You can use the 3rd party certificate for all the services.
Its just a matter of assigning all the services to it. (SMTP, IIS, POP, IMAP)

Hello,
I use Exchange 2007 and have a SelfSigned certificate on my Hubcas"1" which expire soon with the following services: IMAP, POP, SMTP and a third Party SAN certificate.
I have the same certificates on my Hubcas"2" except that my SelfSigned certificate will expire in may 2012 and has the following Services: SMTP
I pretty much know how to renew my SelfSigned certificate:
Get-ExchangeCertificate | where {$_.IsSelfSigned -like "True"} | fl
Get-ExchangeCertificate -Thumbprint XXX | New-ExchangeCertificate
Enable-ExchangeCertificate – Thumbprint XXX –Services .......
And here is the question: Which services should I enable on my SelfSigned certificate? I notoce a difference between my 2 SelfSigned certificate on my both HUBCAS. How do I know which services are needed?
Also and as I have a thrid party certificate, would it be possible not to user the SelfSigned certificates ? If I do not renew them what would happen?
Many thanks in adavance.
