Exchange 2007 Send Connector Smart Host Redundancy?
Question regarding how Exchange 2007 Send Connector Smart Host Redundancy works.
If I define two smart hosts, will the connector round-robin between them? Or always use the first one listed and only use the second if the first one listed is down?
Thanks all.

Hi,
The connector will use both hosts in a loadbalancing.

Just tried to reply to this but the browser hung. :( Hopefully we won't see duplicate posts.
Anyway, the send connector will use round-robin first and then use fault tolerance if one host fails.Principal Consultant, Silversands | www.silversands.co.uk | www.msexchange.org/neil_hobson
