Exchange 2007 Temp Tables
In Exchange 2003 we could use MFCMAPI to view the store temp tables. I am trying to view temp tables in exchange 2007 and can not find them. the reason I want to view them is a user states the emails the he sent out over a month ago have resent, so the temp
table is where these "stuck" message usually are. Do the temp tables exist in 2007 if so how do I view them, if not what is the equialant.

Yes message tracking show s the message as sent.

and its not in the user's sent items folder?

Correct it is not in sent items for the day the end user recieved it. When I looked up reasons for this I found information stating to check Temp tables using MFCMAPI but when I follow the instructions I did not find them, the instructions were for Exchange
2003 and we have 2007. So I was wondering does 2007 have temp tables. I really only want to check so I can see if any other messages a stuck in there so I can get rid of them.

Im not aware if similar functionality exists in 2007. I would however ask the recipient to copy and forward the internet headers of that message to see exactly when it was submitted and sent on your end.

Hi,
First, I would like to confirm whether the issue occurs on certain user or each user on the same Exchange 2007 server. Is the Client software Office Outlook, OWA
or other software?
Based on my research, I would like to answer you that Temp Tables do not exist in Exchange 2007. Hence, you cannot use MFCMAPI tool to locate it.
To troubleshoot the issue, I suggest you perform the following steps on the problematic user client machine.
1. Perform a clean boot to disable third party application.
Note: A Clean Boot will allow us to isolate any device drivers or programs that are loading at startup that may be causing a conflict with other device drivers or
programs that are installed in your computer.
a) Start the machine on the problematic machine and type MSCONFIG.EXE in Run Command in Start menu.
b) In the Services tab, click "Hide All Microsoft Services" and click "Disable All".
c) In the Startup tab, click "Disable All". Click OK. (This will temporarily prevent third-party programs from running automatically during start-up.)
d) Restart the computer. Does the problem still persist?
If the problem does not occur, it indicates that the problem is related to one application or service we have disabled. You can use the MSCONFIG tool again to re-enable
the disabled item one by one to find out the culprit.
2. Login on the mailbox on another machine with the same profile and check whether it will send duplicate emails again.
3. Temporarily disable antivirus program and all Outlook rules to check the result.
