Exchange 2007 User Mailbox calendar sharing problem
Hi, we got 2 user mailbox. i want to share those mail boxes with few employees. currently 3 employees are able to see the calendar. i need to share it with 2 more people in the absence of the main access persons these 2 people need to access the calendar. i dont want to provide mailbox access. i just want to give calendar access. i did requested calendar access from the 2 new employees outlook 2007. when the old employees approve share, the new 2 employees are able to see the old employees calendar, not the actual calendar. i tried to add the 2 new employees manually in the exchange server" with full permission". it's giving a blank calendar for them. any idea. thank you, krishna Krishna Gummadapu

Check the default permissions on those two mailboxes calendar. Also, try to provide permissions from the calendar in outlook or use the delegates feature in outlook. i guess its the default permissions that is blocking access.

Hi Krishna, Can you give us some more information about this --> "when the old employees approve share, the new 2 employees are able to see the old employees calendar, not the actual calendar" Has the old employee more than one calendar folder? Do note that only the system Calendar folder can be shared using the Delegates feature. Martina Miskovic

Try opening in online mode by not downloading shared calendars and see if that helps.Sukh
