Exchange 2007 and Auto Replye/Forward
Hi,
I can't seem to get this functionality working....
-In Exchange 2007 console organization->hub transport->remote domain i enabled the default remote domain settings like automatic replies and automatic forward.
-Using outlook 2007, i created a rule for any email sent to me or when my name is in the to box, forward it to my external email.
I can't seem to get this working. Is this functionality works? Appreciate comments or solutions.
Thanks,
TagaR

It is not unusual for the messages to be blocked/dropped by antispam.
Message tracking will tell you if the forward has occurred.
Restarting Transport Service may also ensure that things have updated correctly, although not strictly necessary.

Outgoing emails are not passing any spam gateway and exhange spam is enabled. Only incoming to our system is passing to a gateway. This should rule out being blocked from our side. Unless, google is blocking out-of-office replies?
I checked the message tracking for an event id: receive. I can see the test email from a user to me and also an email sent from me with FW: test and the recipient is my gmail account.
Any other areas i need to check?
Thanks.

With my server restarted during the weekend, the autoreply and autoforwarding worked.
