Exchange 2007 and Outlook 2003 Free/Busy HELP
If any can help with this I would be so grateful. Here is my current situation. We have with in the last 3 week transitioned from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2007. This was not done under the best of circumstances as our old Exchange 2000 server was dying. We did make it through the transition with out to many bumps. Our client base is almost all Outlook 2000/2003. Now as of late last week we lost our Exchange 2000 server all together. And no there is not much hope of a good restore. So as you all might have guessed this kind of made a mess for OAB and Free/Busy Scheduling. I was able to create a Public folder for OAB and populate it just fine, so all good there. But I can figure out know good way to deal with the missing Scheduler+ Free/Busy PF. It will not let me create it. And Ive found no way to deal with my problem to this point. Does any body have any ideas.
Thanks,
Chad

Having the same issue - check if free busy shows up in OWA - works for us but we can't figure out how to get it working for Outlook 2003. We didn't migrate though, this is a brand new Exchange 2007 server with no replication or previous client data.

When you installed your first 2k7 mailbox server role did you tell it that legacy clients would be connecting? If not, Free/Busy is accessed via HTTP with teh CAS server and not in the public folder. Only outlook 2007 or OWA 2007 can read free/busy from the CAS. Anything previous requires the public folder structure, which you probably need to manually create.
