Exchange 2007 cannot stop forwarding emails
I have a few users that still have their email forwarded to an alternate address even after I have gone in and removed the setting (Recipient config-mailbox properties-mail flow settings-delivery options-forwarding.
Iset up the forwarding as a stop-gap measure until I was able to finish integrating our blackberry environment. I changed this setting more than a week ago (and have rebooted the server since then), but the Exchange server is still forwarding email to the address that used to be in the (now deleted) contact.
I have verified that:
Forwarding is unchecked for the mailbox in question
ThereareNO contacts (get-contact)
I have even gone as far as to disconnect and reconnect the mailbox, and to use the shell to "set-mailbox mailbox -DeliverToMailboxAndForward=$False" (I know it is a : instead of =, but that makes a smiley). I have alse tried toggling that setting to True then back to False...
At this point it seems like it has to be a bug in 2007. Any ideas???
