I have problems with windows 2003 server running exchange 2007 server.After updating last patch from Microsoft update, I reboot system and then I got problems in the raid 1 disk 1 , disk 0 was ok . After that , windows start up , and its running CHKDSK , first time it find same issues , it solved it , and them restart again , after that its checking , it doesnt find any defect clusters , but after the CHKDSK its restart and its getting in the same loop.Finally I restart the server, I everything its back , still the raid its off , meaning that second hard drive its degraded .Now im looking at the server and I have same users with email lost , and web application are not functionally , like OWA.Im afraid that the server its not working fine, I will like to do same testing before restart it or before repairing the RAID 1.any suggestion in what should I look for in order to know the stability and if the server it will start up again if I restart ? I need to recover losts emails and solve users connection problems :For ex , one user when she open outlook2003 she gets this messages :Exchange its currently in recovery mode , you can either connect to your exchange server using the network ,work offline , or cancel this logon.Is she work on line , she only see email from today , if she work offline , she see the rest.Other user its lost all new email from the day of the crash until today .Please help Thanks in advance
