When doing database portability, you will want to create a new target database with the same name as the old. Then dismount, delete/move the database, and copy over your old database and make sure it has the same name as the old database. In Exchange Console, make sure you go into the properties of the database and ensure that the database can be restored/overwritten. You only want to bring over the database and not the logs. The logs from the source will be a different log stream. Try copying over just the database and then replacing the new database with the database you copied from your source.
