Exchange 2007 deployment
I have an existing Exchange Enterprise 2000 running on a Windows 2000 active/passive cluster. I have an Exchange standard 2000 running on Windows 2000 as my front end server. I am getting ready to add an Exchange Enterprise 2007 running on Windows 2003 active/passive cluster and an Exchange 2007 hub running on Windows 2003 to my existing Exchange environment. Since 2007 will build a routing group connector, should I install the hub first to build the connector or should I build the mailbox cluster first?

Hello,- Any of first Exchange 2007 server will create new Routing Group during Active Directory preparation.- But recommended order is to install CAS, HUB & then Mailbox Server role ORCAS & Hub together (if you are planningon same server) and then Mailbox.- Edge & UM can be deployed at any time later if you required...Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
