Exchange 2007 faulting application errror
I get this message on my two Exchange servers running SCR. I have not found any info on why it happens.Faulting application cqmghost.exe, version 8.11.0.0, faulting module cpqperf.dll, version 8.11.0.0, fault address 0x00000000000041b5.anyone have any ideas? I am running SME with netapp storage, it seems to happen shortly after the backup completes. More often on the secondary cluster server than the active one.

Probably something "Compaq related." EXEs and DLLs with CPQ are almost always some "helpful" HP/Compaq utility.

Check info:
1. Quote: Secondary cluster server than the active one
Could you provide more details about the exchange topology?
2. Does there any 3rd-party software have installed on the SCR servers other than Netapp? Like HP Insight Management Agents for Windows Server or Mail Disclaimer Software?
Notes: Similar issue about HP Insight Management Agents:
Faulting application cqmghost.exe Version 8.0.0.0
psp 8.00a errors after install
3. Please check the status of SCR and services
Get-StorageGroupCopyStatus
Test-ReplicationHealth
Test-ServiceHealth
4. Is there any related event near the error you posted?
5. Please also run ExBPA for health check

We had a similar problem here - also on two Exchange Mailbox Clusters. The faulting message was the same, but it was not related to any backup. The service stopped after a run time of approx. 5-15 minutes. The problemseems to be related to the Performance Monitor Sub-Agent in HP Management Agents. We've disabled it and since then the HP Insight Foundation Agents continue working.Go to-Control Panel- HP Management Agents- select "Performance Monitor" and "remove"
Hope this helps
