Exchange 2007 in Single AD Forest with Multiple Trees
Are thereany issues concerning a support for an installation of Exchange 2007 in a single forest with multiple trees? For example, can HT and CAS Exchange 2007 servers installed in aaa.com domain support Exchange 2007 Mailbox servers installed in bbb.com domain (the same Windows site), and vice versa? Thank you very much! Nina S

Hello Nina The Exchange organization has a forest vide scope, so you can install the exchange servers any where you like. There are issues related to redirection of client requests and they are well addressed in http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb310763.aspx. Hope this helps. Thanks AJAY YADAV

Yes it does. I just wanted to confirm that the domain boundaries have not changed in Exchange 2007. Thanksa lot AJAY! Nina

Hi, Besides Ajays input, please note that each ActiveDirectory directory service site that contains the Mailbox server role must include one or more Hub Transport servers.
