I am receiving the following error during installation of Exchange 2007. Organization PreparationFailed Error:Active Directory operation failed on FSEXCSVR.ssgastro.local. The object 'CN=All Address Lists,CN=Address Lists Container,CN=SSGASTRO,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=ssgastro,DC=local' already exists. The object exists. Elapsed Time: 00:00:05 I think something is screwed up with the Container for All Address Lists, but I cannot delete, or bring the property sheet on it in ADSIEDIT. When I hit delete on the container, I receive the error "The specified directory service attribute or value does not exist" and clicking properties returns an error of "An invalid directory pathname was passed." Are you transitioning from Exchange 2000/2003? You could try via Active Directory Sites and Services. If you show the Services node, you can scroll down to the Address lists container, and there you can change permissions, so you can see the address lists container again. - Ilse
