Exchange 2007 on Hyper-V
Has anyone ran Exchange on a Virtual Computer? We want to become fully virutal, with all our production servers running on Hyper-V as virtual computers. I saw when hyper-V was released that Microsoft recommended waiting 60 days before deploying Exchange onto a virtual computer. I was wondering if anyone has tested with this setup yet? I am looking to make our two physical computers our host computers, the physical will only be running Hyper-V with the Virtual Comptuers being the actual DC, file server, print server and such. One of these wants to be the exchange server as well. Comments, suggestions, have you tested this and found it stable? Im not sure if this is a question or a comment, but I am leaving it as a question for now. Thanks

Thank you Amit. That is a lot of the information I was looking for. This gives me very good information on what to look for to make sure the process goes as smoothly as possible. I am guessing with this document, running Exchange 2007 SP1 is supported now running on Hyper-V? Thanks

You are correct that E2K7 SP1 is now supported on Hyper-V. Microsoft now supports Exchange Server 2007 SP1 running Hyper-V or hypervisors validated under the Microsoft Server Virtualization Validation Program (SVVP).
