You might be installing Exchange 2007 RTM version on Windows Server 2008 servers. Check the link below. http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/migration-deployment/installing-exchange-2007-windows-server-2008.html Thanks.Vishal Ramnani | MCITP - Exchange 2007 | MCSE Messaging | MCTS - Win 2008 Config

I think it should be in the Release notes in CD or installation folder as SP1 release or so. Vishal Ramnani | MCITP - Exchange 2007 | MCSE Messaging | MCTS - Win 2008 Config

How to check the versionYou can check the version from the conosle -> Exchange Management Console -> Server Configuration. All the Exchange Server with Roles and versions will be listed in the Middle Pane on the right side.If it is 8.0 (Build 685.24) it is RTM. Exchange2007 RTM and all previous versions of MicrosoftExchange are not supported for installation on a computer running WindowsServer2008. Exchange2007 SP1 can be installed on a computer running WindowsServer2008.check this out for details http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232170.aspxRaj

Hi Jassim, Exchange 2007RTM is notsupported to be installed on WindowsServer 2008. Please check the installation folder of Exchange, if it's SP1, there should be a file named relnotes.html, open it and you will find a short release note there. I don't have rtm file in my hand, not sure if rtm have this file. However, at least, where do you get the installation package? You could ask the one who provide you the package. You also could download Exchange 2007 SP1 from website: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=44c66ad6-f185-4a1d-a9ab-473c1188954c&displaylang=en Thanks, Elvis
