Exchange 2007 on Windows 2008 R2 How the ____ do I make a backup that can be restored on a new installation?
Hi All. I know my post might be in the wrong section. I have this question and have been searching my ____ off on google with no luck. I have tried Windows Backup on server 2008 R2. That sure as ____ does not work. Did a full backup with the system state and when attemting a restore BOOM!!! Blue Screen OF the Death!!! Arrrhhh.. Now since that Did not work I tried Symantec Backup Exec 2010. What a waist of time... :-( Can it really be so hard just to have a backup that can be restored quick with no hassels? I have just a normal Hubtransport Exchange 2007 on Server 2008 R2. If anyone can just point me in a direction Coz I am lost... :-(

For a Hub Transport, I would simply rebuild the Exchange server and reinstall Exchange plus SPs and hotfixes.
