Exchange 2007 outbound filter
May I have to know where I can set the email outbound filter? I want all my colleagues cannot send email to *@163.com but can send to michael@163.com only. Possible? Please advise. Thousand Thanks!!!

Please used Transport rule as below Rule Comments: Apply rule to messages from users Inside the organization and when the TO contains 163.com send Delivery not authorized, message refused to sender with 5.7.1 except when the message is sent to michael@163.com

Open Exchange Mangement Console>Organization Configuration>Hub Transport Server Click Transport Rule>New Transport Rule In the Conditions Click From users inside & when the message header(TO) Next in the Actions select your prefer Next in the exceptions click except the message is send to machel@163.com(before you cans chose this recipient, you must be create Mail contact in the Recipient configuration>mail contact)

Thanks for your quick reply... but... sorry that I can't found the hub transport server. Where is it under? I can just see "Global Settings", "Recipients", "Servers", "Connectors", "Tools" and "Folders". Is there what you are talking at? Thanks for your kindly help!! I really need this urgent.

Sorry that I really have no idea on it. Would you please tell me how to show the hub transport server or edge transport server? I read many many article on Internet and from exchange tech web but still have no idea... please help!!!

As upstairs reply, First,please make sure you are Exchange 2007 & Use the Exchange 2007 Management Console Tool (Windows>Start>All Programs>Microsoft Exchange Server 2007>Exchange Management Console) If you are use Exchagne 2003 system managment tool is not support to exchange 2007 configuration. Oh... Really very sorry... The one I got is Exchange 6.5, means 2003. Really very sorry... So, is it possible to set outbound filter in Exchange 2003? Many thanks!!!

It's ok! The Hub Transport rule is the new feature of Exchange Server 2007 and only apply for Exchange 2007. Base on your demand,the exchange 2003 is not support. Maybe you can consideration to deploy Hub transport server role in your exchange organization.
