Exchange 2007 server Resource mail box
hi,
i am extreamly sorry if some one already raised this question,
in my organisation we are maintaining exchange 2007. we got a resource mailbox named Board room.
this mailbox was setup with proper settings. it got 3 groups: mailbox auto bookers, Manuall bookers, Special bookers.
what ever the group if the request accepted it is going to deleted items folder. i want to keep it in the inbox.
for example: if any one in "auto bookers" group requested a time slot in the resourse room and if the time is available, the mailbox automatically accepts the request and move the request mail to deleted items. Because of this the delegated person don't
know about the event. so we want to keep the mail in the inbox after accepting the event.
can any body help me in this.
thank you

Thats default behaviour. Even when you accept or decline the meeting request the original meeting request goes to deleted items folder.
When you say "delegated person", Does that mean resource delegate?
If not, you can include the resource delegate as well in the meeting request so that he will be aware about the event.
If yes, Set the mailbox calendar settings to forward all meeting request to resource delegate for approval so that way resource delegate can have update regarding these eventsPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
