Hi.... i installed 32 bit exchange server 2007 and i want to take backup for the server by using the exchange server 2003 Backup & Restore Utility tool and download the respective backup utility and installed on the server 2008. But after opening the utility i had found only the restore option is available and there is no Backup option exists...... Can any one help out on this ..... Shahulhameed

FYI - If it's a producrion env 32bit isnt supported. Is your Prod? Use the native OS back/tool not the 2003 one.Sukh

Hi Shahulhameed, Per your description, you want to use the third party software to backup the exchange data. I am sorry for not familiar with the software, I would suggestion that you could follow the instruction for the software, or you could turn to the vender for some help. What OS do you use to install the exchange, you could use the tool installed with the OS. Such as ntbackup, server backup. Regards!Gavin TechNet Community Support
