Since migrating to an Exchange 2007 server from Exchange 2003 server I have noticed that the first line in the header of a received email no longer is "Microsoft Mail Internet Headers Version 2.0". How do I get this back in the Header as it is needed for some of the functionality of the spam filter?

Hi TS_LHB, How did you spam filter work, could you explain it in detail? If “Microsoft Mail Internet Headers Version 2.0” is only worked as key words for spam filter, Why not use other key words to instead of “Microsoft Mail Internet Headers Version 2.0”? I tested in my lab, only users on Exchange 2003 will get the email with “Microsoft Mail Internet Header Version 2.0”. I am using a McAfee Email and Web Security 3200 Appliance. McAfee's response was the following "This should be a setting in your Exchange/internal email server environment to add this header information and should address this issue." They couldn't tell me where to go to add it. There is a McAfee Spam Submission Tool which adds icons on the Outlook Toolbar which enables you to click on when you want to Blacklist or Whitelist an email. It is this tool that McAfee Tech Support says "requires that the string "Microsoft Mail Internet Headers Version 2.0" should be in the header information of messages in order for them to be recognized as vaild to send via this tool." The problem is not with the 3200 Appliance but with the McAfee Spam Submission Tool. Thanks, Tracy
