Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010 Migration
I am ready to tackle the task of migrating our current MS 2007 Exchange environment to 2010Exchange platform. I plan to install Exg into an empty root as it is installed now with several child domains that all exist within the same forest and have a contiguous namespace. Is there some very solid documenation that could help me in getting this project done well and preferrably, error free? Jesse

Hello Exchange Server 2007 and Exchange Server 2010 are similar in architecture so the transition process is more straightforward. You need to Upgrade your Existing Exchange 2007 to sp2 All Exchange Servers Exchange 2007 Sp2 AD forest and Domain in Windows 2003 Functional Level At least one DC should be windows server 2003 Sp2 or higher Here are some steps which you can follow for smoth migration. http://blogs.technet.com/b/jribeiro/archive/2009/11/26/transitioning-from-an-exchange-2007-environment-to-exchange-2010.aspx http://autodiscover.wordpress.com/2010/12/21/transitioning-from-exchange-20032007-to-exchange-2010-planning-session-recording-from-microsoft-opendoors-egypt-arabic-session/ http://smtpport25.wordpress.com/2010/04/17/transition-from-exchange-2007-to-exchange-2010-in-brief/ Thanks Mhussain
