Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010 Public Folders
I have migrated from exchange 2007 to 2010 and replicated the public folders. The database size is showing 250 megs. But if I look at there are no folders. Has anyone seen this and does anyone have any ideas. Before i took the exchange 2007 server offline I saw all the folders and the sizes were the same.Preston Thornhill pthornhill@fusionstorm.com

Can you bring the 2007 server back online? If there are no replicas on the 2010 side, then you need to start the replication process again, ensure all the folder have replicated by comparing item counts between folders, not folder sizes.

So you have no folders at all? No content? If so, then you will need to do a restore from backup.

Where do you check the public folder, public folder management console? Have you set the “Connect to” option with exchange 2010 server? Have you checked the public folder statistic with the “Get-PublicFolderStatistics” cmdlet? How’s the setting of the public folder replica? Get-PublicFolder -Recurse | Ft -Wrap Name,Replicas Get-PublicFolder -Identity \NON_IPM_SUBTREE -Recurse | Ft -Wrap Name,Replicas Please check the value of the default public folder database in the properties of the mailbox database on the exchange 2010James Luo TechNet Subscriber Support (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/ms788697.aspx) If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com
