Exchange 2007 unable to send or recieve past the Mail Relay
Hi, need your help please. Current mail configuration is Exchange 2000 on server 2003. Mail is sent via a 2003 Mail Relay server sitting in the DMZ and not on the Domain. Have installed Exchange 2007 on to Server 2008 R2. Have configured the Hub Transport application with the appropriate inbound and outbound connectors both going to the mail-relay sever. The mail relay server has an inbound ip and a separate outbound ip. Have moved 2 mailboxes from the old server to the new server. I am able to send email from one pc to another on the new server. I am unable to send email out past the new exchange server. Any suggestions on this would be massively appreciated

You mean to say you are not able to send email out? Check the send connector and make sure Anonymous permission is ON. Gulab | MCTS-MCITP Messaging: 2010 | MCTS-MCITP Messaging: 2007 | MCC 2011 | Skype: Gulab.Mallah

Hi Check messaging tracking and see where the message got to. Up the logging on the send connector and see what happens when you try to send an emaim to a extrnal account. Also, do you get any NDR's ? Does this issue happen to both of the mailboxes that you havemoved? If so, Seems like an issue with your send connector. Sukh

Hi Sensei1973, Any update for your issue? Above gave some good suggestion. How about use the mail flow troubleshooter tool to confirm the some information. Regards!
