Exchange 2007 with SBS 2008 - Autodiscovery Problems
Hi All
This problem is driving me and my client crazy, just installed SBS2008 server all seemed to go well. Then when trying to setup users email accounts I had problems finding the server to authenticate the mail in Outlook Profile setup. It pops up
with box asking me to connect to Sites and then asking for username/password - no matter what combination i use it wont go away. After retring it does eventually tick the box. But when opening Outlook 2007 it again prompts for the username/password
and the user does not get there mail.
I did find a way to stop this in IIS 7 Application Pools stop the AutoDiscoverRecovery and it works only problem in doing that Offline address book does not work neither does Out of Office Assitant.
Please help
Thanks
Jason

Run EXBPA and check if it reports any DCAL permissions or any other permissions releated errors or warnings.
Run test-outlookwebservices cmdlet and check if it reports any errors.
access internal url of the autodiscover xml file from the outlook clients desktop enter the users credentials and check if it reports "600 Invalid request" if it is reporting "600 Invalid Request" then nothing seems to be wrong with the SCP and AutoDiscover
xml file.
