Exchange 2010, DPM is corrupting the content indexing

I am backing up Exchange by DPM

But after backup the content index go to failed state every now and then

Even tried to reset teh catalogue index

But it is keep on failing after backup

Any thoughts?

I strongly doubt DPM is the cause.

Hi,

From your description, I recommend you refer to the following steps to troubleshooting the issue:

  1. Please check if there were some event logs produced, if yes , you can post it
  2. Please use another backup method , and check whether the issue occur , if no, that should be caused by DPM
