Exchange 2010-changing primary account

Hi All

Using exhange 2010, user on connected desktop using Outlook 2007..account is configured as ie: User1.

Exchange account setup as (windows user account) User1 and User1 email (mailbox)..all works as expected. Client wants to add an Additional Mailbox..easy enuf. Added account "User2" mailbox in "Additional Mailboxs" Area..works as expected. However client wants to be able to send email and "change" the outgoing address to User2..is this possible...in a PoP3 environment you can start new email and then choose which account (if more the one account configured) by choosing the "Account" button...all configured accounts are listed here and you choose which one you would like to send with....is it possible to get the same scenario with the Exchange Account?

Thanks in advance..!

Kevin

Yes. You just need to give the user SEND AS permissions to the other account. They can then add that account in the FROM: ( Picking from the Address Book so the other account has to be visible in the GAL)

Update...sorry guys, thanks for the help...the client has taken the easy way out and has created a second user on the desktop. They are then switching users (each being primary on their own account) and sending and recieving this way. I'll not get a chance to use Andy D's solution unfortunatly. It certainly seems like his solution would have resolved this..Thanks again..!....Kevin
