Exchange 2010
I have installe exchange 2010 on a Server 2008 Enterprise server. All users was created and we use a linux server to download pop mail from ISP and forward to the exchange server. We did a test run and we received the test e-mails on the client computers
running outlook 2007. We then started downloading all the mail for the pop accounts. No new mail came through and when I checked the exchange 2010 the alias for client mailboxes was set ot name and sername instead of just name for example (NameSurname instead
of name) their email adresses are name@organization.com. I changed all the alias to name and all the new mail started coming through. What happend to the other mail that was downloaded from the ISP and could the wrong
alias be the reason for the mail gone missing? How can I retrieve this e-mail.
Any help will be appriciated.

Please check the
message tracking log, see if the missed messages have been forwarded to exchange server and
delivered to mailboxes. If not, please check the log on the Linux server to verify whether the mails have been sent or notPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
