Exchange 2010/Outlook 2010: Unable to view meeting requests
Hi, I would like to confirm some situations with your help. ===== 1. Is there anything other wrong with these problematic users except for the meeting requests? Do they send or receive messages well? 2. Before the issue happened what did you do or whether did you do some modifications? 3. Does it happen when using OWA? ===== The followings are my recommendations: 1. To check these users' "Calendar Settings" Open EMC --> Recipient Configuration --> Mailbox --> Right-click one user which has this issue and select "Properties" --> "Calendar Settings" Tab --> Check whether "Enable the Calendar Attendant" check box is selected --> If not, select the check box. 2. I suggest you to recreate email porfile : To create new email profiles, We can refer to this article: How to create and configure email profiles in Outlook http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829918 ===== Hope these helpful to you. I am looking forward to your any updates. Regards, Jerry Ye Finding problems is to make progress & Solving problems is to keep advance

We have some users on Outlook 2010/Exchange 2010 that are unable to open up meeting requests. When they open up the request, they see two messages: "The meeting is not in the Calendar; it may have been moved or deleted" and "Meeting cannot be found in the Calendar". The calendar entry also does not appear in the recipient's calendar. Has anyone seen this before? Screenshot:

Multiple users? How many? Is there anything in common about them? Have you done anything recently in Exchange that might have caused this, like any cleanup after an upgrade?Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Hi From searching similar situations with yours, I found that this is a common issue that lots of persons encoutner. ===== I suggest you try to search the FRMCACHE.DAT file on the computer, once found rename it to FRMCACHE.OLD. Note: ensure Outlook is closed before renaming the file. If the issue still persists, repair the default Outlook Data File file using the Scanpst tool. To know the path for the default .PST file used by Outlook 2010, follow the steps given below: Open Outlook > File > Info > Account Settings > Data Files > Open Folder Search for scanpst.exe file, once found double click on it to open and browse to the default Outlook data file and to repair. Note: close Outlook while using Scanpst. ===== Hope it useful to you! Jerry Ye Finding problems is to make progress & Solving problems is to keep advance
