Fresh install of Server 2012 and Exchange 2010SP3.  Rollup10 fails to install.  I have run the install with elevated privileges.  The GUI side of thins says all went well, but the version stays the same (14.3.123.4).  Link to the log file.  https://www.dropbox.com/s/5cddzexler9uu13/Rollup10.log?dl=0

What do you mean it "fails to install"?  Do you get a message?  Does it show up in Programs and Features > View Installed Up

Please double make sure your account has elevated permission. Then run the update from an elevated administrator command prompt using the following syntax:

Exchange2010-KB3049853-x64-en.msp /lvx c:\logFilePath\InstallationLogFile.log

Note: change the log file path in the command.

Are you sure that it's getting failed? This indicates it is installed successfully.

As Ed suggested, can you see UR10 for Exchange 2010 -  KB3049853 in the Programs and Features, view installed updates?

Or run this in the EMS and verify it shows 14.03.0248.002 on the server?

RU10 for Exchange is not in the Programs and Features list.

All the roles show as Version 14.3, build 123.4

Correction, the updates are showing in Programs and Features, but in the EMS, it still shows as 14.3 build 123.4.

Are you just looking at Get-Exchange server cmdlet output for the version or running below cmdlet?

Get-Command ExSetup.exe | ForEach{$_.FileVersionInfo}

Get-ExchangeServer always shows base Service Pack version in AdminDisplayVersion which is Version 14.3 (Build 123.4) for SP3.

+ programs and features shows the UR10 means it is installed successfully... ;)
