Exchange 2010 - Hybrid : Need to powershell to achieve email address changes as advised by office 365 team

I have an office 365 hybrid setup where i need to do changes of email address on 3000 users and as that users being synced by hybrid changes are supported to be done on premises and i can do it using EMC but need to automate it from power shell . Please advise the possiblity . Thanks

Below are the steps i do in graphically.

Hi Skoffice365,

Ive received your email. Thank you for providing the screenshots.

According to your second screenshot (the one about EMC), I suggest you do the following to see if it helps:
1. Uncheck Automatically update e-mail addresses based on e-mail address policy.
2. Select the address which you want it to be the default address  ( user@alumni.kuw.edu.lw)and click the Set as Reply button from above. This should be able to change the attributes PrimarySMTPAddresses and ProxyAddresses and delete the not required(user@kuw.edu.lw)
3. Click Apply and OK.
4. Run a force synchronization with your DirSync tool to update the changed attributes.

And if the issue of unexpected cloud email addresses persists after taking the steps above, please feel free to contact us. Were always here to help.

Best Regards,
Allen

Any assistance is appreciated , thanks in advance.
