Exchange 2010 - Offline Address Book
Hello,
We have about 300 users all running outlook and Cache mode. My problem is we have one user who happens to be my manager that has disappeared from the GAL. His mailbox is not set to be hidden from the GAL and was in there before.
If I set myself off Cache mode his name appears but if I go to cache mode it disappears. I've updated the offline address book thru the EMC and have done a send/receive of the address book in outlook without error but his name still does now appear.
Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this?
Thank you,

Are there errors when the OAB is generated?

As Rich suggests, look for any errors on the mailbox server that is configured to generate the OAB. If necessary, you can turn up diagnostic logging - under System Attendant, I believe.Tony www.activedir.org blog:www.open-a-socket.com

Yes, go to check whether there is any error when your server generated OAB.
If you didn't find any error, follow this rebuild OAB to have a try:
