Exchange 2010 - archive function
Hi everyone, I have a short question about the personal archive function within Exchange 2010. Is it possible that a user delete e-mails from this personal archive mailbox? best regards Christoph

In the default ocnfiguration the end user can remove content from the archive in teh same way as they can remove from their own mailbox. If you need to retain the data then you will have to use the legal hold options. Although if you need to keep the content for regulatory reasons I would argue that the personal archive feature isn't really suitable, because it still allows the content to be modified. For regulatory retention you need to use a product that can process the emails from the journal function and probably store them outside of Exchange. Simon.
