Hi All, I'm in the process of transisioning from E2007 to E2010. I had bought Digi certs from GO Daddy which was .crt. It seems that .CRT file doesn'[t work with the E2010 servers? Though i imported the .CRT, i could see it only in the MMC -> local computer -> Certificate. It wasan't visible in the exchange EMC?? swamy

what about if you run cmdlet "get-exchangecertificate" . Try to re-create it using below powershell and confirm again. Just to confirm - you did the request and the import on the same server? Using the Exchange 2010 certificate wizard? Once you have done both steps, then you can export it to another server if that is required. You might have a bad certificate. If that is the case, do a new request through the wizard, then request a rekey in the GoDaddy SSL certificate system and use the new request. It needs to be identical in name etc to the original. GoDaddy will then issue a new response for you to put in to the wizard on the Exchange 2010 server for the import to complete. If you did the request any other way then it will have to be enabled for Exchange, either using the PowerShell command enable-exchangecertificate, or using the Exchange certificate wizard in the management console. However a request done outside Exchange may not be a valid Exchange certificate, using a SAN/UC certificate with the relevant names in it. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources
