Exchange 2010 Delagate not recieving calender requests
A shared mailbox?
So the "delegate" actually open manager's calendar via Shared Calendar or Additional Mailbox? If this is the case, does the manager himself receive the meeting request?
IF this is not the case, please provide more description on how you setup the delegate, and how delegate manage managers' calendar. Thanks.

Fiona,
The office manages the calender requests from their own inbox.
The manager himself receives all the meeting requests and accepts some manually.
The give the office rights we used the following PS command: Set-MailboxFolderPermission -Identity manager@domain.nl:\Agenda -User user@domain.com or group@domain.com
-AccessRights Editor
This is working for all users in that group expect one which is very weird to me.

Hi Fiona,
I've studied the links you gave me and here is the result:
We have no transport rules on our exchange server.
All the other others who manage the same calendar from that manager haven't had any trouble (they all recieve the rights trough a group this user in question is also a member off, those rights are the same as the picture)
Also you lasts link refer to adding a inbox or folder, this isn't used anywhere in our organisation so i doubt the problem lies there as everyone that needs to have acces to the calendar have it.
Thanks for your help and i hope i provided enough information, as i'm totally qlueless to what this issue could be.

Hello all,
We have a weird issue with out exchange server.
For our CEO, COO, Managers etc. The office handles their meeting requests, this is working fine for some but 1 user isn't receiving all the request she should be getting.
The user has been granted the permission to receive the meeting requests and this worked fine untill last week, than all of sudden she noticed she wasn't getting any meeting requests from this manager anymore. I tried to find all sort of things on the forums
but nothing seemed to match with my issue.
In short: User has rights to receive meeting request from all managers and such but since last week she isn't getting the meeting request from 1 manager. All other members at the office are still receiving the meeting requests from this manager.
I'm quite stuck on were to look from now and what i could check. Any help would be appreciated.

Use message tracking and see what's happening to the message. My first guess is that a rule on the admin assistant now has a rule that moves them somewhere else.Ed

Please try Add-MailboxFolderPermission and then specify the uers in question.
Note: Do not use "OR" in parameter -user.

Thanks for your update. It seems everything is setup correctly.
I reviewed the thread again and noticed that the Message Tracking indicates "Last thing forwarded to that user was on okt 5th", and you did not describe how your delegate receive the meeting request?
Are you using the forward rule to forward the meeting request to delegate? If this is the case, check the rule and make sure it is working.
Does the delegate open folder Agenda via Additional mailbox or Shared folder? Let the delegate try this to make sure the permission is actually added.

My suggestion is:
1. Verify and make sure the delegate configuration was not changed; especially "forwarding meeting requet to delegate..." option.
2. Check the delegate user's Outlook rule as well as transport rule to make sure the message request sent to manager has not been blocked.
3. Check if there is a mobile device involved. If yes, temp disable the device and try again to see if the issue disappears.
4. Check to see if there is any NDR, if the msg is listed in deleted items; move mailbox location and try again to see if this works.
5. Collect message trace log to see what exactly happens.

Hello Fiona,
As far as i know there is no forward rule setup, i will check that to be sure. Maybe you could assist me in where to check this because this is the first time i've heard of it.
The users who manages the calendars recieve the meeting requests in their own inbox, they dont have to open anything else.
On the managers outlook profile the rights are displayed in the same way so server and client-side the rights are the same.

First of i don't use the "OR" in the command. I used it to state that we either add user or groups not both at same time.
I tried to use your add-MailboxFolderPermission -id manager -user user -accesright editor. But she still states she isn't seeing anything.
The other users who are in the same group can see the meeting requests and accept/decline them, but she isn't getting anything trough the group or trough her account as editor right.
I ran your command and the outpout of it can be seen in the following image:

I've been trying the things said and here are my findings so far:
Message Tracking: Last thing forwarded to that user was on okt 5th. Any other members are still getting meeting request from other dates.
the "forwarding meeting requet to delegate..." option is available for room accounts, i cant find that on a user
or shared mailbox. (note: Manager has a shared mailbox and the users should be getting those message's trough the office group like the other members, if a workaround can fix it so she gets it trough her own user mailbox thats fine by me.)
The outlook rules on the calender haven't changed, any other in the same group gets the meeting requests and she doesn't, even if we set her account in there as well.
There is no mobile device involved, just standard laptops and desktops.
There is no message listed in deleted items, so i can't check for NDR. (Or can i ?)
Hope this information helps to clarify some questions that might have raised. I'll keep an eye on the log just to be sure.
