HI Brannon,

All Exchange ActiveSync features are enabled during a default installation of Microsoft Exchange Server 2010. You can modify the feature settings at the Exchange server level with Exchange Management Console, and enable or disable Exchange ActiveSync features for individual users or groups of users with Active Directory.

You can create policy for disable "Initiate a remote device wipe" for users

Thanks, you set me in the right direction. Outlook Web App Mailbox Policies was what I needed to edit.

Yes Brannon,

Outlook Web App Mailbox Policies will also help us here. Find below steps to disable Wipe option.

    • In the console tree, navigate to Organization Configuration > Client Access.
    • In the work pane, click the Default Outlook Web App Mailbox Policies tab.
    • Go to Properities & Click on Segmentation tab.
    • Now you ll see Exchange ActiveSync Integration option in list.
    • It would be ENABLED bydefault.
    • Please Disable it.
    • Now check in OWA.
