Exchange 2010 Outlook Anywhere Auto Configure
Hello, I have a test Exchange 2010 and I had read somewhere that I can create a file or something that allows remote users that are using RPC over HTTPS to just enter a server name, user name and password and Outlook will query this file and automatically configure itself. This was a while back so I forgot what that was called or how to do it. Does anybody have any links I can get to read up on it? TksChazzie / IT Manager Advanced Door Controls, Inc.

Before you conifgure Outlook anywhere , please make sure you have enabled Outlook anywhere on your CAS , and you have configured Outlook anywhere external URL. After you have finished it ,don’t forget testing Outlook anywhere connectivity. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee633453.aspx Then you could follow these article to add an account. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/use-outlook-anywhere-to-connect-to-your-exchange-server-without-vpn-HP010102444.aspx?pid=CH101395531033 More information about “understand Outlook anywhere” http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123741.aspx Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
