Hello,
have you tried creating a MAPI profile in Outlook instead of a POP3 profile? Since your clients are inside your network (and I assume they're joined into your domain) this shouldn't be a problem and it'd be better than POP3 (no plain text auth etc.).
Greetings,
Toni

Why spend all that money on Exchange if all you want to use is POP?
You get a free POP server with the Windows Server O/S!

How you configure the client depends on the client you're using.
The authentication credential might be
"<ADDomain>\<ADAccount>\<Alias>", or it may be the UPN of the AD user.
The passwords is, well, the password.
If you're using Outlook as the e-mail client then you really should
lose the POP protocol and usr RPC or RPC-over-HTTPS.

I use all the clients which includes some pop clients as well and my high management team member says he is much more comfortable with it and I am forced to do it.
Do I have to chage some thing in Authemtication Mechanism on the pop settings like
clear text ?

Please check if the "My outing server (SMTP) requires authentication" is enabled on your POP profile:
1. Open Mail in control panel.
2. Click your pop3 account and choose E-mail accounts. Click Change.
3. In "Internet E-mail Settings" page, click More settings.
4. In Outgoing server tab, check the option "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication".
If the issue persists, please use another computer to configure the pop3 account by outlook.
