Exchange 2010 Public Folder Storage Limits?
I'm in the process of migrating from 2003 to 2010 SP1.
I notice that there are some default storage limits on the Public Folders database in 2010 that aren't there in 2003 (I don't know if this is by default or if they were removed at some point).
Anyway, do these limits, particularly the "Maximum Item Size (MB)", apply only to new items or would they also affect existing items in the 2003 server when they attempt to replicate to the new server?
Thanks.

It applies to existing replication also. its better increase the limits and replicate the data

Thanks Uday, that's very useful to know - so if I had the default limits at first and it prevented any items from being replicated, is there any way to tell?
Would removing the limits result in a "back fill" of any affected items?
Thanks.

Hi,
>so if I had the default limits at first and it prevented any items from being replicated, is there any way to tell?
The owner of public folder will receive a warning message if the size reach its limitation.
>Would removing the limits result in a "back fill" of any affected items?
It will keep retrying until it reaches the backfill time-outs.
