Exchange 2010 SP1 Roleup 4
Using Exchange 2010 when Outlook (no matter 2007 or 2010), when I sent a file to sender from Winword or Excel by menu File - Send as Attachment or sending by right mouse button Sent to Recipient and the formed letter marked as encrypted, then that letter has two attachment, one of them unencrypted. So, we can see this strange effect only using Exchange 2010. Is this they way it sould be or do i need to correct it ? Yours, Henry Hazot

Hi As far as I know, it is fixed by sp1 RU3. Can you try to remove Ru4 and install Ru3 v3 again. http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=165 Can you reproduce this issue again?

If it doesn't work, you can communciate with Microsoft support. If it is bug and you needn't pay for it. It is Kb of your issue. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2469341

Henry you shouldn't be charged when you open up case with PSS. What i feel is you should open up a thread in Outlook also, lets see what they have to say.Gulab | MCITP: Exchange 2010-2007 | Lync Server 2010 | Windows Server 2008 | Skype: Exchange.Ranger | Blog: www.ExchangeRanger.Blogspot.com

Hello to all and thank u for your quick respond. I have installed the latest RU5 this week. Still no change :-( The thing that drives me crazy is that if i send a new email straight from outlook and mark it as encrypted with an attachment i get only one attachment. But if i try sending by right clicking the document and ---> send to mail recipient and mark it as encrypted it sends out two copies of the document that one of them is not encrypted. Yours, Henry

Hello, you said you have installed RU5. Is it possible that you don't have installed SP1 yet? There's a RU5 for Exchange 2010 RTM but not for SP1. If yes please install SP1 and then RU4. Greetings, Toni
