Exchange 2010 SP1 UM Dial Plan Question
Hello, I had a working configuration on Exchange 2010 that stopped working after SP1. I am using Exchange 2010 UM with Cisco Call Manager Express (UC 520). The issue is that I have 4 digit extensions and a dial plan that reflects 4 digit extensions.
UM works fine internally (extension to extension). The issue comes into play when when I try to leave a message from the outside. Here is the scenario: Extension 1001 has a UM extension of 1001 and a UM extension of 2125551234. When
a caller dials 2125551234, extension 1001 rings. EUM picks up after the 4th ring and says "Sorry, the person you are trying to reach does not have a valid voice mailbox on this system, goodbye". I am convinced that what is happening is
EUM receives the 10 digit number and doesnt know what to do with it because the dial plan only recognizes the 4 digit extension. I just dont know how to adjust the dial plan to accept a 10 digit inbound call as well as a 4 digit call. Like I said
this worked fine until SP1.

We should be matching the same amount of digits as we have in the dial plan
There can only be one digit count per dial plan
Suspect UM SP1 is rejecting due to digit length
