Exchange 2010 SP1 and AD Prep
We've prepped AD, schema and domains using Exchange 2007 SP3. Do we have to do this again to install Exchange 2010 SP1? I understand that some of the required AD updates for Ex2010 are included in SP3 for E7.

you would need to prepare schema as the "RangeUpper" attribute for Cn=Ms-Exch-SchemaVerion-pt for 2007 sp3 is
14625
and for 2010 SP1 14726

Thanks Dhruvaraj, but where are you finding that attribute? I've run ADSchemaRef and it reports 14718 for 2010 SP1 ms-Exch-Schema-Version-Pt.

Of course, you need to prepare AD again.
I would like to take an example.
As we know, preparing AD will create several security groups and grant appropriate permissions.
Exchange 2010 has a new feature named RBAC, it requires Exchange 2010 has more security groups.
