Exchange 2010 Shared Mailbox, add Rule
Hi, is there any possibility to add Rules in Outlook (2010) for a shared mailbox without changing the Mail Profile and directly login as the Shared Mailbox? Greetings ------------------- MCITP Enterprise Administrator, CCNA

No. But if you have full mailbox, you create via OWA as well ( though the same level of rule possiblities is not availble via OWA)

What a pity! I want to eliminate our public folders. We have about 20 mail activated folders with enabled mail forwarding. Users can change the rule, to which mail address mails will be forwarded with right click on the folder, than Folder-Assistant. I need the same feature with shared mailboxes, otherwise I can’t eliminate the public folders. Do you have an idea? ------------------- MCITP Enterprise Administrator, CCNA

OWA would work. You could give mailbox access to those new shared mailboxes and via the ECP users can adjust those rules.
