Exchange 2010 in a existing 2003 Forest
I have configured my Exchange 2010 server in my 2003 Forest all seems to be working all mailboxes have been replicated from the 2003 server and it seems to be working but the problem I now have ( All of the mail is still being delivered to the 2003 server how do I get the 2010 server to take over as the Primary Email server when I assign it in outlook it automatically changes to the 2003 server what have I not done)?

Not sure what you mean by "assigning it in outlook" but if you want Ex2010 to be the server responsible for Internet mail then you will need to create a Send Connector call it something like "Internet Connector" under Orgranization Config-Hub Transport-Send Connectors. You will also need to update your Firewalls rules for SMTP, HTTPS.MVP Exchange Server

Hi, If you have successfully moved the mailbox from exchange 2003 to exchange 2010, when configuring outlook profile, the server name section should be pointed to the mailbox server of exchange 2010. By default, the mailbox users in exchange 2010 server will deliver the message by using exchange 2010 hub transport server. Please make sure you have send connecter configured in the hub transport server: Open EMC, expand to Organization Configuration->Send connectors, then create a send connector for Internet mails. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997285.aspxPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
