Exchange 2010 SP2 Without going into great detail about how it got this way, I have an AD environment with a dead Exchange 2010 server. I need to reinstall Exchange and get mail running again. The server would not recover the HT and so I'm stuck. I was hoping it was up enough to do an uninstall, but I get the error "Some controls are not valid. Setup previously failed while performing the action DisasterRecovery. You can't resume setup by doing the action Uninstall". This environment is only a couple of weeks old, systems state backups etc have not been implemented yet. I'd rather not rebuild the entire environment from scratch.

What does the ExchangeSetuplog say? Any error in the application event log?Fiona Liao TechNet Community Support
