Exchange 2010 setup
Hi
Exchange 2010 setup fails with the given error message
ERROR] Setup encountered a problem while validating the state of Active Directory: Could not find Active Directory site to which this server belongs.
What could be the reason for such error message

Hi,
If you haven't created a site in active directory sites and services or if the IP subnet where the Exchange server is located is not associated to any sites.

Hi
I have also seen this error when there are firewalls between the Exchange server and the DC or if the local firewall on the DC is enabled and there are no exceptions for the Exchange servers configured.
